This Privacy Policy explains how FAJR (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit fajrpk.com, use our solar calculator or contact us. Our website is an online product catalogue: we do not sell products or take payments on this website, and we do not ask for card or bank details online.

What information we collect

• Contact form and quote requests: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message. If you arrive from a “Get a quote” button or from the solar calculator, the message field is pre-filled with the product name or a short system summary (for example “5kW-hybrid-8x585W-3xOAX”); you can edit or delete this text before sending.
• Solar calculator: the appliances, hours and bill values you enter are processed in your own browser to show the estimate. They are not stored on our server and are not sent to us unless you choose to send us a quote request.
• Emails, calls and messages: if you contact us directly, we receive the details you share with us.
• Technical data: like most websites, our hosting servers automatically record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of a visit (server logs), mainly for security and to keep the site working.

How we use your information

• To answer your enquiries and prepare quotations, system designs and site surveys you ask for.
• To follow up on a quotation, delivery, installation, warranty claim or after-sales support request.
• To keep our website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems.
• To meet legal, tax or accounting obligations where applicable.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making. We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

• Theme preference: if you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (key “fajr-theme”). It never leaves your device.
• WooCommerce (our catalogue software): may set cookies such as woocommerce_* and wp_woocommerce_session_* to make the catalogue work, and “order attribution” cookies (sbjs_*) that record how you arrived at the site (for example from a search engine or a link). These are first-party cookies and are not shared with advertisers.
• Performance and security: our caching software (LiteSpeed Cache) and WordPress may set technical cookies (for example for logged-in administrators) so pages load quickly and securely.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The website will still work, although some preferences (such as dark mode) will not be remembered.

Who we share information with

• Hosting: our website and its database are hosted by Hostinger, which stores the data on our behalf.
• Email: messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our business email inbox.
• Manufacturers and installation partners: only when needed to fulfil your request (for example a warranty claim with the manufacturer), and only the details required.
• Authorities: if we are required to do so by law.

Links to maps or other websites (for example Google Maps) open those services, which have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and quotation messages for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing sale, warranty or legal obligation. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

How we protect information

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, access to the site’s administration is restricted, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Please email info@fajrpk.com; we may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Children

Our website is intended for adults making purchasing decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
